6th grade and tissue paper

School started yesterday. Here is Joe, ready for the first day of grade 6. He didn't really want to go to school, but he was looking forward to meeting all his school friends again.
According to tradition, we took a picture of him in last year's old uniform, and then this year's new uniform.




This is where I was playing with water color paints and tissue paper. This is the second piece of tissue paper I painted.

Then this is the first piece of tissue paper I painted, after I tore it up and used liquid laundry starch to attach it to a piece of cardstock.
