Yesterday was the first time Janow pulled a cart! Roger drove. Nothing happened. He wavered a little from side to side, then just went forward. He even trotted a little!

I can't say I'm surprised, but I am impressed!!!
i'm so jealous, i always wanted to teach my horse to drive. i was concerned about his tendency to spook sideways though - that wouldn't be good.
Lytha, the blinders help because they can't see sideways. If you have an experienced driving trainer, that helps. Join "Carriage Driving List" to help find one in your area if you feel serious.
Oh wow! Lookee that! You must be so proud. I would be, too. Janow looks awesome!
