Turkey Eggs and Other Things

Joseph went fishing during out trip to New Hampshire.

I am working on this right now, it is XLarge.

Joseph and I watched movies on the laptop while we were away from home.

Dave found these turkey eggs after accidentally scaring the hem off the nest. He tried to see if she came backbut whe didnt while he was in sight.

There is a lot going on here. Nothing spectacular, just lots of "the usual." There was a Boy Scout Camporee at Grant Ranch.

The Santa Cruz Pregnant Mare Rescue Swap meet is comming up on Saturday. I have a vendor space. I have been looking for a market umbrella but not found one that is a justifiable expense considering the revenue it will bring. I think I will have to say that I will use it mostly at home with the spa. Here are some of the shirts I have been working on. Problem with these is that the pictures cannot prepare you for how they really are.

The Vineyard Classic Combined Driving Event is approaching also, first weekend in May. I have set it up for BSA Troop 92 to volunteer, since it is a benefit show. It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Cheese Louise! Everything's messed up! Well, not EVERYTHING. Long lined Yndi yesterday. It was short and slow. Nothing bad happened. "Whoa" did not work well, "stand" works great so I used it in combo with "whoa." When the voice commends work well in the round pen on long lines and the arena on a longe line, I will try the arena on long lines. I need a curcingle. I need better lines. I need I need I need..... Reminds me of someone I know....

New Hampshire

We went to New Hampshire and played Farkle. Then we came home.



Funny thing is that I saw one cat and maybe five dogs in the 8 days we were gone. It didn't seem like the real world. Not at all.

Yesterday Was Not My Day

So yesterday.....I took the car in for a new tire. Dave hit a rock on Mt. Hamilton Road Saturday and it was flat, huge hole.... Then the alignment.

I took Lydia so we could walk around while I waited. An Jan is across the street, so we could get a pig ear.

It only took 3 hours during my usual Yndi time.She was sniffing in the bushes and came out with a huge lugey stuck to her ear. Someone hawked it up and spit it in the bushes.

EW!

I cleaned it off with a Kleenex. When we got home, I cleaned it with soap and wet washrags. As I was wringing out a washrag, I popped a blood vessel in my finger. Within seconds my finger started to swell. Now I have a huge hematoma.
