Maggie will now have time to acclimate--I would think that going from the trailer to a new housing situation with multiple horses would be more stressful than getting off the trailer to spend time in a pasture by herself.
Well, look at that cutie! Glad she's finally there! Bet she's heartily enjoying that turnout and speaking of hearty...bet she's that too Cara. She'll be fine, there's so much hype with this virus...that probably was started by the llamas in that facility as the suspect horse they did an autopsy, had another illness unrelated to EHV. Sad.

When I brought new horses into boarding stables, I seem to remember quarantine being several weeks- a month maybe. Hopefully, it will go fast for you.
